Shrey Parekh is a finance leader, dealmaker, and builder who has spent nearly two decades helping category-defining technology companies scale from early momentum to global leadership. As Vice President, Finance and Deputy CFO at Fruitist, a pre-IPO AgTech and superfruit unicorn, he leads the company’s financial strategy, capital planning, and operational infrastructure as it prepares for its next phase of growth. Across leadership roles at Miro, Cisco, New Relic, Viant Technology, and JLL, Shrey has built and scaled global finance and M&A functions, guided IPO readiness, and helped architect transformational acquisitions that reshaped entire product categories.

Over his career, he has led or executed more than 135 transactions representing over $12.5 billion in value, spanning acquisitions, financings, IPOs, and strategic partnerships—from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. Known for combining an investor’s discipline with an operator’s mindset, he brings a rare ability to translate strategy into durable financial systems, scalable processes, and long-term enterprise value. He is also an active angel investor in more than 50 startups, supporting founders across SaaS, AI, infrastructure, and emerging technology.

Shrey began his career in technology investment banking at Jefferies and has since operated at the intersection of finance, strategy, and innovation, helping define the modern playbook for high-growth companies. Outside of work, he is a lifelong runner, international traveler, and classically trained tabla player who has explored more than 65 countries. He lives in Southern California with his wife and daughter and can often be found training for his next marathon or cheering on his favorite Los Angeles and San Diego teams.
